Hitmaker Reinhard Tega AKA Rein Rein Rein Reinhard has followed in the footsteps of legendary producers to feature artistes on a song headlined by himself and “Mr. Ayinde”, his debut single is no different.
Mr. Ayinde is a song about patience and fortitude while hustling to make it to the top all the way from the bottom. The mid tempo track features Nigerian superstars – Koker, Classiq and Loose Kaynon who each add their own unique spice to the gourmet sound.
Koker slays the hook with a vindictive delivery from his street tinged croaky vocals that surprisingly soar quite high enough to replicate a sigh of relief after much needed success finally comes to stay.
Loose brings an strangely calm, reflective and even soulful conveyance of his articulate bars while Classiq seals the deal with his exotic Northern Nigerian accent with his passionate tirade.
Reinhard of course is no wall flower; Mr Ayinde’s beat is an unmistakably Hip-Hop sound built on a trap foundation and kept afloat with hypnotic echoes that sound like the beat box of urban music royalty transformed by his magic fingers and articulate mind into contemporary wavy nobility.
Mr. Ayinde’s story about drive and eventual success is much needed on today’s heavily entitled music scene.
