Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, finally found the back of the net with a brace against Sassuolo on Sunday, after going three matches without a goal in his debut season for the Serie A champion, Juventus.
Ronaldo’s decision to stay back in Turin, Italy, during the international break to work on his goal scoring skill, while others were representing their countries in international friendlies yielded results in the 59th minute and 65th minute.
Sassuolo eventually pulled one back but Juventus emerged victorious in the end by two goals to one. Ronaldo was interviewed afterwards and he said ”I am happy to finally end my goal drought.”

“I was a bit anxious with everything after leaving Madrid to come here, but that’s the way life is. It’s human to be like that, sometimes we can’t control our anxiety. But I am happy, I knew that I was working well and that the goals were going to come.”
