    Mixed reactions as Operatives of the EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, arrested a serving military personnel, Lance Corporal Ajayi Kayode and 26 others for alleged internet fraud (Yahoo Yahoo) in the Lekki Phase 1 of Lagos State.

    According to reports, the military personnel with service number NAF18/34732 was arrested in his uniform during a morning raid at 6B, Fatah Idowu Arobike on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

    The arrest came following intelligence received from people about his alleged involvement in criminality.

    The soldier was arrested alongside 26 others named Adeniran Nurudeen, Uzo Igwe Nathaniel, Godswill Maduchem, Opeyemi Ojo Chris, Derrick Morris, Shehu Oluoti, Samson Kazeem, Debowale Adedoyin, Oluwatobi Oluwatobi, Olaitab Ajao & Oyindamola Kareem.

    Other suspected internet fraudsters incude; Hassan Sunday, Victor Ochiabuito, Kalu Emmanuel, Odinaka David Okem, Christopher Prince, Victor Ologhu, Alex Aka, Habeeb Ayomide, Miracle Onyekwere, Olakunle Ajeigbu, Salam Hakeem and Rasheem Olanrewaju.

    The soldiers arrest and parading by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has sparked controversy and argument online, with many asking if EFCC has the right to meddle into Military affair’s.
